Come to the street. Talk to those of us who live here. Go ahead. Get the true story. Yes, things aren't always what they seem, but those of us who watched this unfold from beginning to end know the true story. We know exactly what happened as it happened. We know who he was fighting with and exactly what these people do with their lives. And they are not angels. Yes, I watched it all unfold. I watched the ambulance pull away and I watched the investigation that lasted all night. I have seen neighbors cars riddled with bullets, over what. Something stupid and most definitely illegal.

Yes, I have chosen to buy my home on this street, but it wasn't always this way and I can guarantee you it won't be this way for long. There are those of us who will no longer stand for the nonsense that goes on in our front yard. I am a hard working law abiding citizen of the city who has a right to live in peace. Not worrying that I am going to get caught in the cross fire of some gang bangers or drug dealers on my way to my car to do my job.

I agree that he didn't deserve to die this way. No one does. But as the saying goes, when you dance with the devil you are sure to get burnt. It's just the way the world works.

Ms Wertz...U got angry at everyone judging Greg. saying they weren't there. Go to the neighborhood it happened in and talk to the people who DID SEE THE WHOLE THING!!! And several people did......He is not innocent and sweet and was not acting in the way of a person "who would never hurt anyone"...The way he was out of your sight may not be the Greg you thought you knew.
As for everyone else...you didnt see the event and the whole story has NOT come out..NO one deserves to die the cold way he did...when all settles down and if anyone even remembers the case when it finally goes to trial..the WHOLE story will come out and some of you will be eating your words.

If you are a law abiding citizen and you were there and saw what happened, I hope you told the police who did it. That would be the right thing to do. And if you believe that this was about drugs, I can tell you that it DEFINATELY was not.

I have gone down there and talked to the people on the street and no one will tell me what happened. So if you know anything, please tell the police what you know.

Greg was not perfect, but he did not deserve to die the way he did.

I and my family have all talked to the police. You have nothing to worry about with that. I am not nor will I ever be one to keep my mouth shut. I never every said anywhere in my post it was about drugs, at all. Do not put words in my mouth.

And if you quote my words be sure to remember them. I did say he did not deserve to die that way. I just said when you dance with the devil you are bound to get burnt. That's all.

Commentary from individuals such as Rascal and York Eats Crap is the reason that no one would want to live in York. You are the enemy that no one can see. Heartless, cold and cowardly. I hope that you and your families are good upstanding individuals ie; make a decent living and live in nice glass houses. But I can tell you this much from the garbage that you post regarding the unfortunate killing of this young man, your brains and your mouths are full of maggots. Why would anyone live near you? May your families never have to experience tragedy. See how many people come to your aid.
Just to let everyone know who are saying this dont judge him feel sorry for him bullsh**. Let me tell you all something, I KNEW HIM!!!! he was a drug dealer, robbed thirteen and fourteen year olds, beat his girl friends but nothing would put a stop to it he knew everything...He was super gangster (lol) you know the kind ..untouchable. From what I have learned about the situation, he asked for it in the sense that what happened was someone protecting them self form some one older and stronger and should of known better

Yeah, Gregory had such a good heart that he was pistol whipping someone. Not saying he deserved to die but he was certainly not a stellar citizen.

Well it sure looks like 99.5% of us on this page are right about this Wright and this Coleman all along. And this mornings headlines backup our conclusions. So the .o5% take your "I know Gregory Wright and he wasn't into the bad life and didn't deserve it" bullcrap and put it on a posting page for people of your kind. We law abiding and clean honest taxpayers don't want to hear it or read this mental garbage anymore. Tell it to one of the druggies, theives or city murders who care. Then again you can admitt you are worn; but most likely that won't happen untill this crap happens to you or your family member. Too late for you then.

Greg was a great person, and he was always wandering around late at night, that was jus his thing.. has nothing to do wit dealing drugs. I love you Greg, you'll be in my heart forever. Rest in peace baby.
