The only war on the christmas season is the one the rabid christians themselves make a much to do about nothing.

If they were really concerned about the christmas season. Then use that anger on the retail stores that were open on Thanksgiving. Because it is the retail stores that are effectively killing any fun or spirituality of any holiday.

I agree with some of your comments....the commercialization of Christmas is ridiculous. However, it is sad that some companies want "Happy Holiday"...but that is their decision.

The Bible really does not tell us to celebrate the virgin conception of Christ...but does tell us to remember the bodily Resurrection.

LemonPeel That is great for you christians.. But for the likes of Bill Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and others to keep up the stupidity that some and in some way it is the fault of a select..Fill in the group you do not currently That is destroying christmas.

As I stated in my original post. the only people that are keeping up this nonsense of a war on christmas are the christians themselves. Again save your anger for the stores that open on Thanksgiving.

Personally, I do not care whether a sales person says happy holiday, happy hanukkah, have a good ramadan, A blessed yule, or even merry christmas.

America is a secular nation with many religions and adherents. Many celebrate this time of year with in their own religion. Also many have no beliefs, but celebrate this time of year for their own reasons.
