Can't help but wonder why the anti gays continue with their useless struggle to keep us second class citizens. One day gay marriage and civil rights will be the law of the land.

Once again, freedom of speech is being attacked by the right wing nuts. The christianazis will not stop until they silence all who disagree with them. Our nation's very way of life is under attack from this fringe group who broke not dissent.

If you do not agree with them, they will attack and malign you. They will put you out-of-business or send you to re-education camp. They will have you fired from your job and banned from public appearances.

Oh wait! I was confused for a minute there. That's the homonazis that do that to christianazis.

I was wondering the same thing. Who is next on the pecking order? Faux Christians can't feel anything unless they have someone to hate and look down on.

They will continue to pick on gays, and anybody else they label as "sinners." The hypocrites need people like these to feel morally superior, and cover up what they do behind closed doors by finger pointing.

I really wish the anti-gay would put their money where their mouths are, and boycott LGBT-supportive computer companies, too. Then they'd have to get the heck off the internet since there aren't any anti-LGBT computer companies!

Boycotts are just another one of their failed promises.

Do they have a list of things that they DON'T boycott?

Must be a pretty short one.

As if anyone cares about luring the dollars of a bunch of tightwad rural trash.

A boycott is an expression of free speech, not an attack on free speech. And if the other side doesn't like it, they can make it a point to shop on that day. In some cases, boycotts help the businesses when more people with differing views will support them.

And what you describe is what extremists on ALL sides do.

Macy's has been a strong supporter of the LGBT community for several years. It is just good business to support your LGBT employees and customers. That is why almost every Fortune 500 company is very supportive. The AFA can support Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby. I am sure they would love their business.

PLEASE folks, go to AFAs website and subscribe to get their emails. Why you ask? Every time they announce one of these attempts to flex their hate they include links to a site to send email to whoever they're hating on this week. Simply change the title and delete the garbage they want you to send. Use their own gun to shoot off an email to support the company or individual against AFAs hate.

It always feels great to support those that AFA HATES.

The humor is lost if you're not familiar with the rhetoric spouted by the leaders of AFA and similar organizations.

Many polygamists are asking why the gay, anti-polygamists continue on with their useless struggle to keep them second class citizens. One day polygamy and civil rights will be the law of the land.

My only objection to polygamists is that the way it has manifested in groups like Warren Jeffs'(and in Canada, the Bountiful people) where women are treated as property and are handed around to pay off favors, with zero consent involved from the women who are often legally minors.

When it's between mutually consenting adults who are not close blood relatives (and therefore genetic diseases aren't as likely) I really don't care personally. Do they pay their taxes? Are they contributing members of society? Is everyone in the relationship given an equal legal and familial say in all matters that affect the family or them personally?

There you go again. "gay, anti-polygamists"? In what way is anyone "continuing on with their useless struggle" concerning polygamy? I don't remember seeing a coordinated struggle to keep polygamists down by the gays. If anything, I have seen numerous posts by gays on Topix essentially saying "I don't care". Our struggle is our own. Polygamists can fight their own battles.

I agree that boycotts are an okay tactic.

First, it's just not all boycotts are going to be as effective as ones by Harvey Milk against Coors or the current one against Chick fil A. Both those companies had to distance themselves from their anti lgbt bigotry.

Second, apart from effectiveness, some boycotts are aimed at bigots and some boycotts are organized by bigots. No one has said that AFA members cannot marry or adopt or serve openly.(Although...food for thought.)

Third...Gov. Perry will have to remind me what my third point was. Oops. Sorry. I just can't. Back pain pills _again_.

Excellent description of the gay activists. In Alameda County, the call re-education camp 'lesson 9. You will bake that cake, take those photos and arrange those flowers or pay the penalty.

I have yet to see any polygamist post anything on these threads. I don't understand the obsession by two guys constantly sidetracking any topic to that of polygamy, and accusing gays of being against it. There certainly has to be a polygamy thread somewhere on all of the Topix forums. The trouble with that is then they would be "on topic" and blend in and not get much attention.
