Macedonia's Megalithic-era Kokino Observatory is located 1,030m above sea level on the Tativec Kamen Summit near Kumanovo. Archaeological and astronomical analyses have shown that the observatory is more than 3,800 years old. According to NASA, which earlier this year released a list ranking observatories by age, it is the fourth oldest in the world, after Abu Simbel in Egypt, Stonehenge in Britain and Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

Macedonians greet the dawn on summer solstice 2011 at the ancient observatory of Kokino.

That last one is good. National Geographic acknowledges 'Macedonians'.... Eventually, all will understand that we live in all three portions of the former Nation of Macedonia.

yes ,it means red,but only on similar and literaly translation from greek at Macedonian.Do you know that yesterday,in Brussel, the Grek goverment has financiated and approved the Macedonian -Greek language, but with indirectly with enormous of silence! what for to scare about? maybe cos of big shame and unknowing how to manage it after vreating the completely unnesesary problem with name issue! cos we are Macedonians in REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA.
