Thank you for this informative article. The "traditions of men" have captured the Christian Church and led her astray by the ancient goddess Astarte (or Ashtaroth, Athena, Diana, and a host of other names); she was a sex goddess idealized by the magnificent statues (made of silver, gold and ivory) and gardens in ancient Greece, Palestine and throughout the middle east and Egypt. This "worship" is what brought the downfall of many ancient civilizations because of licentiousness and a decline in male leadership. A point of interest is in the Book of Acts, where the apostle Paul confronted the Athenians (named for the goddess Athena) with a "new religion" that would be called Christianity. These educated Athenians were hiding eggs being brought by Eostre's (pronounced Easter) Bunny.
