Some of this religion has 2 to 3 holidays every month. And if we go by this trend, the country will cease to function. Also jews holidays are not on particular day of the year. The date changes every years, strange!!. They even have holiday on Feb 30th.(whicn normal calender don't have) They follow weird calender.
If jews are so much concerned about their religion go to Israel!!!
And don't forget about "Festivus" for the rest of us!!

Exactly, We are also minority in America and we donot expect that everybody need to celebrate our religious ceremonies. We do it in our home. One can take off that day and celebrate whatever u want to celebrate.
People here need to respect each others religions and beliefs. Also, learn some tolerance for each.'

So then you are in agreement to hold games on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day?
Very simple answer, all or nothing.
Don't be stupid, Easter and Christmas are holy holidays.

Since I am in complete agreement with you how about the two of us iron out next years schedule togethere. Lets see, 2 games on Chrismas day as all stores and business are closed and one practice and an afternoon game on Easter Sunday. Then on to Rosh Hashanna. A game and a practice then and one practice on Yom Kippur as the Jews will be really hungry and tired that day. Do you agree?

THE COACHES WERE OKAY WITH SCHEDULING THE GAMES ON JEWISH HOLIDAYS BECAUSE THE MISSING JEWISH PLAYERS WOULDN'T HAVE MADE A DIFFERANCE.
THEY ARE ALL SOFT AND WHINE LIKE THEIR PARENTS.
Soft Jewish Players are good for whining but not good for FOOTBALL???. Jews play football? Football is neither Kosher not Hewbrew. I thought they only like dridles, Maccabiah Games, Thorah puzzle etc

Asking the sport league to pay a little more attention to scheduling seems reasonable. While there's no way to accomodate everyone, there are some obvious days of the year that the schedule makers should keep in mind.

The city doesn't run the leagues.

It appears that what's happening is that the leagues scheduled the games, some parent(s) didn't like the answer they got and went running to the city (not unlike many other children who try the other parent after being told "NO" by the first).

The city is right - their job is to provide access to the facilities. If you have an issue with the scheduling, take it up with the leagues.

So they should be scheduling games on Christmas, Easter, and Good Friday as well?

To be fair, the should! Ti's totally disrespectful to hold games on the Jewish High Holidays and not on the Christian holy days.

Only thing holy about them is the believers seem to have holes in their heads.
