Thank you, Ms Olstein for an evocative and beautiful portrayal of the meaning of your religion's holiday and its significance - both generally and for you. A beautiful piece of work. Chatima Tova.

Not just for Jews!

Christians also believe in those "appointed times," that Christ died as the Passover lamb at Passover, and that Pentecost inluded the gift of the Holy Spirit.

But there were also appointed times that were prophetic of end-times when they blew trumpets and then fasted on the Day of Atonememnt, representing Judgment Day.

The first trumpet suggests economic crisis (compare Rev 8:7 with James 1:9-11 in KJV) and this year may be a fulfillment. If September 21-30 is big, more information will be posted at www.TheBridegroomComes.com

I always wonder how this correlates with Israel illegally occupying Palestine and violating the human rights of Palestinians, Muslim and Christian. Would you be a better person if your objected to Zionists actions? They must be against God's Law!

Again, people who believe in religions are simply "stuck on stupid" and too lazy to think for themselves....Jews included! Religions are all false interpretations of Creational Laws that supersede even God or Gods...who are nothing but power lust tyrants bent on remaining in power at the expense of humanity!

Each human has the potential to surpass this ridiculus notion that some idiotic "god" is absolute...only Creation is absolute and continues to evolve forever when ever another human spirit joins it in the Absolute energy of Creation. No religion or god offers such teachings, because "they" want the power for themselves.....nothing but a tyrant of power lust!

And not to be fooled, there are those who use the word religion as a scam...take for instance, hope chapel, talk about BS scammers. they charge you a membership fee each time you go there, so here's my quesiton to all...where in the bible any bible do you find...God charged his people to pray???....if you find it, it probably was put there as a scam!.

Even the Jewish Bible documents how the Jews (Moses, Joshua, etc.) went through Palestine, killing all the men, women, and children and then taking their land.

Modern Jews are still doing much of the same....but it's OK because "God told them to do it."

When the basis of some primitive ancient religion is NOT based the betterment of the human soul/spirit but instead based upon "owning" some so-called sacred land...then it's morally wrong.
