Obviously not you. If you can't make a constructive comment, don't make a comment at all.

I'm a Christian and when I was a kid with the breaks at Christmas and Easter I always felt bad for my Jewish friends because they were not given the same recognition for their major holidays. Now they are. I'm glad to see it.

No he is not Jewish, but Tony Villar will show ANYWHERE where he thinks there is a TV camera and an opportunity to hawk more votes. He is a sly guy.

Wow, over 300 teachers pulling in over 100,000, and many more just below that cutoff. As a previous poster said, teachers average $63k/yr, and that doesn't include all of the other perks built into their salaries.

I graduated from college too and use those skills in my current position. How do they justify greater pay increases than the rest of us? A job is a job is a job. All of our jobs support children's education. I don't know a single teacher who would show up to work if there weren't classified staff there to support them, whether it is in cleaning the classrooms, creating technology, or simply cutting their checks.

All positions are rated according to skill sets, and teaching someone, noble task that it is, is still just one skill in a database of many skills.

I can't imagine why Daily News found it beneficial to print the names of employees along with their salaries, instead of simply aggregating the data based upon job classification and salary. You can get metrics without names. In this day of heavy ID theft and major scams, why would anyone publish names together with salary? Anyone who argues otherwise is clueless as to just how much easier info such as this, in conjunction with zabasearch, and a few other sites can all combine to make a complete picture. SO, let's all go and complete some credit card applications, which we will do diverting it to a new address, using the person's name, salary and company name (thanks daily news!) and we're in business.
