Anti-Semitism rears its ugly head in the well educated professional community of Marin County. How quaint?

Someone please tell me how this is religious at all? Those are questions that we should all think about once in a while. So what are you really offended about?
People take offense at having to think...that's when they realize they're brain-less.

Its a very positive thought! The Jewish New Year is also the same day as "the world day of prayer" sponsored by the Unity Church! They have every right to project some positive thoughts about the new year! the same as we all do on new years! and around Xmas we get Santa, and the Christian Religion, in our face! Hate is not a familly value! Don"t like Jews? then take a look in the mirror! you may not like the reflection back! Hate and bigotry usually includes: gays, blacks, hispanics, asians, women, and much more! WE had the "teabagers" at Mill Valley, and as offensive as it was to me, it was allowed!

Many of you are such morons. Keep this in mind as I am an athiest and I could give a sh*t about any of your silly beliefs in made up mytholigies including and not limited to zombies, men with multiple limbs, a valhalla of virgins, etc.

You are allowed to do the following:

1. Display religious messages/images using non-public funds so long as it is not on publicly owned buildings or property and/or sponsored by public agencies.

2. A "mobile" billboard circumvents the couty's ordinance on billboards/advertising as it is not "fixed" in one location.

You idiots can't put those together in your head let alone look it up? You're on the computer you fat lazy morons!
How about typing it into google? That's what even a person of barely moderate intelligence such as myslef can do.
Shut up already!

Hello; These are Jews! They are above the law in Marin County. If I would try to do this all of the Jew attorneys would bring me and my family to court. Look at the US Supreme Court, Breyer and Ginsburg, they are Jewish, but they act like Nazis, when it comes to individual freedom against the government trying to take our property!
Thank God for Scalia, Roberts, Thomas,Alito and Kennedy m we would all be in a Nazi-Government run Country!
Jesus Christ on a hockey stick! You are such a moron. You don't get it do you?
You have every right to buy a mobile billboard and put any message on it, so long as it does not violate any public lewdness laws or does not constitute a "yelling fire in a crowded theater" type of law, religious or otherwise. You can parade it down any street. As long as you are paying for it with private funds you are within your constitutional rights.

Do you see how this works? Are you that stupid that you can't comprehend this? You are an adult right? I assume you have at least a high school education?
Do you always blame other people for your failures and perceived lack of control in your life? Chances are you and your parents had more of an effect on that than other people.
Now go swing a hammer already.

Simple response: No Billboards. Its the law. But then, so is illegal immigration....go down to Bellam Blvd today and see how Marin enforces that! On the other hand, it IS Saturday, and there are SO many Marin estates that need their garderns trimmed....and come Monday, the kiddies will need their nannys and our big house will need cleaning while we're off in the city making big bux. Better not rock the boat, eh? Ah Marin- land of saying one thing, but doing another....

I'm ashamed by some of the hateful comments on these posts. As a member of the Marin comunity, and someone who has parents of the Christian and Jewish Faith, I really ask the haters, why? Nothing has been done to offend any other religions by having a traveling billboard that asks general questions about self refelction. So why the hate? What was the illegal immigrant commment about? Silly. Our enimies are radical extremists who want to hurt Americans, the painful economy, and racism. I think maybe the anger should go towards thatinstead of turning anit-semitic. I also think the title of this Marin IJ article is misleading. I think the billboard is posing thoughtful and contimplative questions to those who wish to ask them of themselves...it was never meant to "Ask People to Think". That seems condecending and implies that you are not thinking if you dont ask yourselves these questions. So I blame the author of this article who titled it for insighting child like bickering and defensive attitutes on these comments. I feel it's also created hate here, and we all dont need anymore hate in our lives. We need happiness, health, and prosperity for our family and communities.
So please all, reconsider the Nazi, illegal immigrant, and negaitve sentiments. No one is asking anyone to convert, to start to "think" as if it is not already happening, for money, or to stray from your own personal beliefs. Especially at this time of year (9/11) we should stand united as Americans and remember that people who hated us hurt us. Don't be apart of the hate, you are better and stronger than hate.

"How would you change your life in the next year? What is a fear that you have and how has it limited you?"

I will boycott Israeli products, and not have the fear to encourage others to do the same.

I will also encourage Israel to close down settlements in Palestine, give back Palestine land and end the blockade of Palestine.

Is that the kind of forward thinking they are encouraging?

AMD, thanks for caring.

By the way, inventing Intel chips or anything else for that matter does not give Israelis the right to oppress and steal from others, but you knew that, didn't you.
