Recreation Facilities

East Meadow, NY

#1 Sep 29, 2008
These facilities including the pool, ferry, and Island are paid for by the taxpayers ...they should be for use by the taxpayers only. If the town is forced to let non-residents use any of the facilities, then the town should charge outsiders a fee that is the equivalent to what residents pay in their taxes. I'm sure the freeloaders won't like it and will cry discrimination, but that that is fair and reasonable.
