What MLK Day should be is a national "Get off welfare" day. Where many of MLK's "fans" can get off their collective duffs and get a job!

Each and EVERY holiday MUST be used as snow make up days.

Talk about close minded reverse racism!!! Who does the School Board Pres think he is?????

If they need to make up snow days, they use the very next holiday in line, NO EXCEPTIONS, then there is no room for any racism argument!!!!!!

Here's where it really is. Most people working at our schools are stinking liberals who hate America and its history. So.. we as parents must be proactive in "Correcting" some of the aspects of what is taught. Thats all.. I've told my son about more important people to we as Americans than MLK was. Thats how you fight it.

You are an idiot! I am a MLK "fan", I'm NOT on welfare and I have a job. Not all MLK "fans" are on welfare.
Load your brain (IF you have one), before you shoot your mouth off!

No better way to educate students about MLK than to have school and teach them!

A "day on" or a "day off" sounds like an off/on approach to bringing about Dr. King's vision. Let's stop the non-sense and get down to making a difference and treating people with respect and dignity. And if yo're against that, then please considering migrating to land that embraces your philosophy.
