As Democratic fears increase that health insurance reform could slip away with a crucial vote for a new U.S. senator in Massachusetts, President Obama on Sunday used a church pulpit at a Martin Luther King Day service to say the massive health bill would be a victory for "decency." As Democratic fears increase that health insurance reform could ...

the problem is - we have a lot of progressives on capitol hill now. another name for progressives is socialists.

they believe they are above the laws of our nations. that they know better than everybody else. arrogrant elitists.

bush, obama, mccain, clinton, pelosi, reid, frank, etc. are some of these progressives.

I don't believe in any of them anymore.

the more I read about the progressive movement, the more I hate them.

if I had my way, I would shoot every single one of them. it may yet come to that. and my guess is - I won't be the only one in line who wants a piece of them.

uh....Palin has NOT gone away. Where do you come up with this "bad karma" stuff? That just doesn't make any sense. you don't like them - that's fine, but stop condeming them - you have no clue at all about them or what they believe in doing. If you did, you would not be making these comments.
Since you like to blame Bush for that first give-away - remember that Senator Obama voted for it. It's just as much his baby as Bush's. Can't run from facts.
Hi cat...Palin gone away??? Now there is a statement from someone without a clue as to what is going on politically....
I am just laughing and laughing about this. Would have posted it earlier but have not been up to par.
How many of us would love to see Pelosi "pole vault" over the fence? and when she gets caught on the spikes see her "dropped from a helicopter behind the fence"?????? What an idiot to make such statements. Not only was that not the politically incorrect thing to say but it sure has given us many, many laughable images of her! I think I'll help push her out of the helicopter!

Hey busman...you know, Murtha is the strangest "elected" political figure yet. Why or why does his district keep electing him? I am sure the people in that part of PA are smart enough to know about Murtha. Do you think he buys votes? or do you think they just love the earmarks so much they are willing to give up their integrity for him? Now, what did that airport do for the people in his district?
Here's a funny one

I hope I did that correctly...how's the weather? Pretty cold today in PA

Her handlers told her to stop worring about Palin so 'Palin went away'.

The fact that after losing VA, NJ and the MA Senate seat the 2008 VP candidate is no longer one of the Dems major problems. As usualy the Dems were so busy fighting the last election that they lost the current election.

The dems are jumping ship faster than rats. Even Biden's son will not run again. And I say to obama...please, go to Nevada and campaigne for Reid...please! Everyone obama has campaigned for has lost the election! He is toxic now and any dem who has him campaigne for them is nuts. But the sad part is obama does not think he has anything to do with them losing the election. Either him personally or his actions. Hope he stays in his "state of slumber" for the next 3 years and wakes up back in Chi town!

Go to the Nevada Government forum. Obama will be visiting NV for a second time pushing Dirty Harry Reid's campaign. Why in the [email protected] are we paying for these continual campaign mode trips? They're costing us millions.

When you become dependent on the decision of a Democrat bureaucrat for crucial medical treatment -- after the health care takeover -- how much power does that give the Democrats over you?
Elderly voters tend to vote more conservative than younger voters, so letting the elderly die because care is "too expensive" can reshape the political profile of the electorate. But can we reasonably foresee that party registration or political contributions might enter the bureaucrat's calculus?
Might it occur to the intense partisans of the Obama administration to grant lifesaving treatment to those they regard as "their people," but not to others? What a neat way to eliminate the opposition! Party registration is already public information. And if they can overturn the secret ballot for union elections via "card check," how long before they try to impose the same more generally, so they will always know how you have voted? Do not trust the judiciary to save us, either, after President Obama packs the courts with more ultra-leftists.
Chilling, isn't it? But not extreme: Obama himself has notoriously displayed his disregard for human life by the stated willingness to sacrifice "grandma" to a pain pill and his coarse support for unrestricted abortion -- even opposition to the Infant Born Alive Act, which he has tried to obfuscate.
When the Democrats achieve literal death-grip power over the lives of all our citizens, that's when they also achieve their long-cherished dream of absolute power in a virtual one-party state. Now is it becoming transparent (so to speak) what the real scheme behind their mania for "health-care reform" is? Now does it all make sense? This is not your father's Democrat party.
This issue is not about health care, ultimately. It is about raw political power and the long-promised radical takeover of the United States. For anyone who hasn't thought of all this before, I guarantee that Obama and his party's other leaders have.
Listen up, bubba.

Anthem Blue Cross in California just charged a 30 to 39 percent rate hike for about 800,000 policyholders.

Insurance industry analysts are saying that all the health insurance companies are going to be hiking their rates 10 to 20 percent or more this year. Then there will be still more rate hikes for policyholders after that as more people drop their health insurance coverage because they can't afford these rate hikes. And so on and so on until no business can afford to continue offering their employees health insurance.

Maybe next year or the year after when premium costs rise to about $5,000 or $6,000 a month, people like you will shut up and start to actually listen to Obama about health care reform. Ya think?

hey, genius... did you know that insurance companies only make like 10 to 20 percent profit margins? don't believe me? go ahead, check out their corporate financial reports.

insurance companies basically just pass on their expenses to their customers.

so, where does all these expenses come from, you ask?

1) the doctors who decide on what they charge for their services. 2) the pharmaceuticals who decide what they will charge for their drugs.
3) the cost of malpractice payouts.
4) and last but not least, the illegal aliens who get FREE healthcare because of our stupid politicians.

obama's healthcare plan will do nothing to stop the increasing cost of healthcare. because it doesn't address any of the above factors.

obama's healthcare plan will only allow the government to get their hands on some of the money.

So, now obama wants to say that every American that disagrees with his forced healthcare bill is not a decent human being........

More mocking, insults, hatred, turmoil and division coming from the obama administration.......

obama is bad for the country.

Clueless in California, they are hiking the rates because of the Healthcare plan, companies won't pay for it and the rich are leaving, get it, you and I will be paying for it, but living in a bankrupt state of California it would be business as usual right?

From what I have seen of obama this past year, and mostly the last 3 months, I sincerely doubt if he knows what the word "decent" means. Sorry, but he is doing all kinds of nasty things to people, sending his "squads" out to smear people and he calls others indecent! How dare him.
