Humana may cut Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center from network

One of the state's largest health insurers has told customers it will no longer pay for health care at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center beginning next month, pending negotiations that now stand at an impasse.

I would be willing to bet that the contract was forgotten and then all the sudden found and then they started freaking out about it. I don't believe the CFO there has a clue as to what he is doing. That place is all about who you know, how you look, and NOT what you know. News flash Ephraim, just because you go to church on Sundays doesn't mean you are a good person. I wish the labor board would do an investigation or even the newspaper look into the contract issue a bit more. The article quotes administration talking about how much they have to pay their employees...they can't even compete with area hospitals (Lexington), and administration has NO problem spending money on furniture for their own offices. Typical of the way things are in todays society. The rich take care of themselves and those under their desks, and screw everyone else.
