Amen to that! Guess there was not enough money in the State Fair coffers to get real talent like Barbara Streisand, or Neil Diamond.
Streisand left the country after Bush was re-elected, like she promised. But I would show up and spit on her.

Hey dudes, sorry to be a buzz-kill, but Pink Floyd doesn't tour anymore. It's been like 3 decades, man. So weird, I know.

When will the state fair be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century?
How about some local, main stage quality talent, like Atmosphere or Brother Ali?
And, please ignore that sweet smell in the air, it's just some righteous weed.

It should be illegal to have country music at the state fair.

they usually have the local acts on the free stages at the Fair and book the "national" acts for the Grandstand....yea, never thought Wierd AL would be touted as such....and although some on here have posted about how they like Rush, well personally, not a big fan but to each his own and those folks should be happy anyway.....I used to always go see the Beach Boys at the Fair and they always put on a good show..., not to mention the Beach Boy Cheerleaders......not quite the same as seeing the Dead play at the Opera Houue in Chicago but, well, that was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...Rock On and all have a safe and wonderful weekend......

George, have you heard Sara Evens or Rascal Flatts? They're country, but they really rock, with good singing voices as well. In my humble opinion.

Rush Limbaugh and Weird Al together how quaint.
LMAO! Rush is a musical group. Limbaugh might come to Minnesota, but not at a fair.
