Amen to that! Guess there was not enough money in the State Fair coffers to get real talent like Barbara Streisand, or Neil Diamond.

I would like to take my kids to both shows. We love Weird Al and I have been a fan of Rush since 1973 (and my kids by proxy).

I know all you Lynard Skynard and Molly Hatchet fans are disappointed, but you guys cannot get EVERY state fair!

Ross Raihala..you forgot to mention if the performers are straight, gay or bi. Apparently we need to know before we can buy tickets.

When I saw the headline about Weird Al, I thought that they meant Al Franken.

Pink Floyed is the only one in THAT list that is any good. But of course not for the fair prices paid to performers. Same crap though. All long gone "has-beens" or Geezer-rock".

Next you`ll want to see the Beach Boys again. But at least they can sing. Bruce just screams out of key the whole night.

They fair as always been 3rd rate acts, at least the past 20 yaers, but then again you get what you pay for. Please name even a 2nd class act the past few years?

Rush still rocks, even if Geddy can't hit all the notes any more. It would be worth admission for a seat close to the professor. Neil can still drum circles around the competition.

Saw Rush a few years ago here. Waited 20 years to see them. Worth the wait. True musicians. Can't wait to see them again.
