So the nuns that taught her wouldn't let her celebrate her birthday every year, but insisted she wait until Leap Year. What sickos. This is just another example of how those sick, repressed women were cruel to young developing children.
No, I did not go to a parochial school. But plenty of my friends didm and this sick nun story is mild compared to what they have told me. I'm surprised they didn't whack her with a ruler for daring to ask if she could celebrate her birthday on February 28. Sick!
