Hmmm..........seems they forgot to mention the FACT that this child had a no contact order with the father, as a matter of fact both children did, due to his drug use. Guess they forgot to tell ya that didn't they? The grandmother was not supposed to let her son have ANY contact with this child, yet she did. Not an accident, when you consider that it was just plain stupidity and negligence to have any child riding even at 2-3 mph with a van door open, and no adult in the back as if that would have made a difference and no seatbelt. I think someone ought to be charged with vehicular homicide, endangerment of a minor and negligence. There better be some charges brought, or I will be contacting the proper higher uppers. This child would still be alive today if not for irresponsible decisions.

@Very Sad Indeed, from what I have read of your post is that you want someone punished for this very terrible accident.I just would like to know how any punishment could be worse than the lose of a child. All involved will have to live with this for the rest of their lives. The one thing you have not told people is that the child's last words to his daddy was, "I love you Daddy". Now explain how any criminal charge would be off any good? By the Grace of God, may you never do anything stupid that would hurt your children or others.

The law is you must have a child this age in a car seat. The law is you can't drive down the road with a door open. The law is the law.

Very sad, praying for family. And people if u can't say anything good or support this poor broken-hearted family don't say nothing then. they don't need negative critical comments rite now it changes nothing! If it was u or ur family would u want to hear everything bad that u have done in the past. Bc noone is perfect everyone has skeletons. in their closets.

I forgot to mention that since there was a death, there will be a drug test done on the driver. Or there should be.
