If forecaster Rob Carolan is correct with his prediction, when Punxsutawney Phil is pulled out of hibernation on Saturday, an early spring could be just around the corner.
actually Ground hog had a slight problem with his shadow.
He dropped his shadow off at a local leading dry cleaning establishment in early January so it would be cleaned and pressed for da big Day on Feb 2 th.
but alas and alack he can't remember which dry cleaning shop he left the shadow. A search of his burgh turned up nothing. No receipt for dry cleaners.
so he will not see his shadow until he gets it back from the cleaners.
I offered him my shadow to use for the big event but he declined saying it was a really poor fit and would never pass for his shadow,
