Really? Should cement manufacturers be regulated?

I'm all for progress if it's beneficial and C-Fix (for one) may or may not be a good replacement.

My house was originally built without using cement and although some has been introduced to it over the years, most of it is cement free.

That's because nobody lives there and there are no weather stations there (or, in tha case of central Africa, the weather stations are not computerised and don't have internet links so the results won't be in till somebody sticks them in the post).
Deniers are getting really desperate- do you think that the bit of the Arctic we don't know about are getting cooler when the bits we do know about are getting much warmer?
Same for the Antarctic- do you think the grey areas are somehow doiong something we don't know about?
If you don't trust GISS, you can use HadCrut- it doesn't extrapolate to the pole and it still shows warming.
The disclosure is that the grey areas are areas of no reporting. Since the graph is colored and the color chart at the bottom doesn't indicate what the grey areas are, GISS/NASA puts in the disclosure that the grey areas are areas without reporting.

In fairness when I post this chart, I too disclose the smoothing ratio, 250 km, and that the grey areas are areas of no reporting.

It's called disclosure. If more climate scientist would adhere to the scientific principle of disclosure, you and I would have less to discuss.

Arctic isolated versus “urban” stations show differing trends
"The satellite data show cooling in central Siberia, similar to the surface anomaly map, and very little warming for most of Alaska. It also shows cooling for the Antarctic Peninsula, where the surface map shows warming. But there is a scattering of hot grid squares across the HISS surface station map for the Arctic. So what is going on?"

A warmer Arctic explained.

The Arctic is Warming or Where are the Temperature Stations to Prove It?
"So let’s go to NASA’s GISS site, which provided the nifty map, above, showing a “warmer” Arctic and a warmer Victoria Island."
