Alarmists should gather at their church of AGW and pray that the warming they predict will indeed continue for a while longer, because the alternative cooling would certainly be a catastrophe of biblical proportions.

1998 was a super El Nino year; 2010 just a moderate El Nino year, with a La Nina at the end.

(El Ninos put heat from the sea into the atmosphere and cause atmospheric warming, which is what Roy Spencer is measuring- in La Nina's, the oceans cool the atmosphere.)

Without global warming, 2010 would never have been expected to be as warm as 1998.

Global warming goes on. The 1998 record will fall in the next few years as warming continues.

Local cold in parts of the US is just that- local.

Anybody talking about an ice age is an idiot because they are caused by known orbital effects- and the next one isn't due for millennia- and even that couldn't happen now because CO2 warming far exceeds the cooling of the orbital effect.

Let's hope you're right, because a reversal could get very uncomfortable at this stage, requiring even more burning of fossil fuels.

Also, 2010 was immediately after the 100 year record '3.5 year super low solar minimum' in which solar TSI was 2 parts per 1000 below normal. Years before that, TSI was below normal AND 2010 ITSELF HAD BELOW NORMAL TSI.

"Was 2010 global warming's swan song?"

I hope not. But I think it will become even harder for the CRU to sell their warmest years ever statements.

It's lower than the 100 year record... and remember, there's no such thing as a solar constant, therefore no normal.

I would have expected a stargazer like litesout to have known that already and I'm surprised he doesn't.

Well look at Canada, Greenland and the Arctic.

Doesn't that big brown splodge look a bit ominous?

Found it, here's 2010 compared to the last 40 years, since 1970.

It is smoothed at 250km, temperatures within 250km of a reporting station are assigned the value of that reporting station.

The grey areas represent areas that have no reporting.

Tough, if you don't like the cold, move to9404 somewhere warm.

No doubt FuGyou takes it for granted that the grey areas must all be hot.

Why would a, "big brown splodge look a bit ominous," because you want it to?
Paint it grey and forget it, because that's the best you can do to fix it.

That's because nobody lives there and there are no weather stations there (or, in tha case of central Africa, the weather stations are not computerised and don't have internet links so the results won't be in till somebody sticks them in the post).

Deniers are getting really desperate- do you think that the bit of the Arctic we don't know about are getting cooler when the bits we do know about are getting much warmer?

Same for the Antarctic- do you think the grey areas are somehow doiong something we don't know about?

If you don't trust GISS, you can use HadCrut- it doesn't extrapolate to the pole and it still shows warming.

The best we can do to fix it is not to listen to sociopathic liars like and cut CO2 emissions.

You should have gotten a technical degree instead of trying to FAKE your way through life like
MANN
JONES
BRIFFA

and the SCORES they CONNED into CO-AUTHORING now WORTHLESS papers

based on FAKE MATHEMATICS that THEY couldn't TELL weren't REAL.

Difference is, THEY KNOW they're LYING: you're so f&ng stupid & gullible you still believe it's WARMED since the middle of the '90s

AND you still believe it's REAL MATH the Royal Statistical Society said IS NOT STATISTICS or indeed MATHEMATICS
of
ANY
kind.

You picked a rough way to try to con a living: LYING on the INTERNET in COMPETETION with the ENTIRE WORLD.

Here's a HINT.

HAPPY SUBPOENAS B!+CH.

Is this the best you alarmists can do, insult people on the internet and hope that you're impressing other people in the process?
As for cutting CO2 emissions, I'm all for it and do the best I can by burning as little carbon as possible and recycling, how about you?

Answering with the facts isn't necessary for YOU, because YOU HAVE FOUND OUT ALL YOUR FACTS were DERIVED from

DATA TOO MESSED UP TO BE OF ***ANY*** use WHATEVER as STATED
by

the CLIMATOLOGISTS

writing in the WEATHER MODEL NOTES in HarryReadMe.txt.

***ALSO*** due to the GROUND SLAMMING REVELATION that
so-called

CLIMATE MATH aka CLIMATE STATISTICS aka MANNian STATISTICS aka JONES-BRIFFA MATHEMATICS

WAS RULED to

***NOT be REAL MATHEMATICS***

of the STATISTICAL
or ANY OTHER KIND.

When the HEAD of the Royal Statistical Society SAID THAT,
it was G.A.M.E. O.V.E.R. to E.V.E.R.Y. worthwhile OPINION on EARTH because

THEY just got CAUGHT

****AS DID YOU****

Thinking RANDOM DOODLES were R.E.A.L. MATHEMATICS.

The OTHER THING that SHUT DOWN a LOT of YOUR CULT'S

enthusiasm for SCIENCE was a COMBINATION of the MASSIVE INCOMPETENCE by MYRIAD of your CHURCH

and the EMAILS which ALLOWED PEOPLE to SEE JONES ADMITTING HE KNEW IT HASN'T WARMED one WHIT since the MID 1990s.

Then there is your CHURCH'S mythical

BACK-RADIATION: in which THE POLARITY of EITHER the
ELECTROMAGNETIC or GRAVITATIONAL
force
TWO of the FOUR FUNDAMENTAL FORCES of the UNIVERSE

would have to be REVERSED for BACK RADIATION to EXIST.
Plus the fact that TEST MACHINES PUT OUTDOORS to MEASURE RADIATION had to be COOLED to -30something degrees to even REGISTER NIGHT TIME RADIATION: a NECESSARY COMPONENT of
THE
mythical
BULL$H!+ they tried to float.

There's LOTS and LOTS of REASONS YOU DON'T WANT to DISCUSS the SCIENCE you intellectually invalid f&ng HICK

and it's got a LOT to do with the fact YOUR LEADERS are UNDER INDICTMENT WATCH for FRAUD.
