You've got to be kidding! If PETA is going after the hog than go after every zoo or circus! Someone has way too much time on their hands. Just think if they could generate all this energy and put it towards saving babies ...

PETA should be concerning themselves with animals in real danger. Heaven forbid we keep a tradition alive using a real animal that isn't hurt in any way.

If PETA is for animals how come sportsman spend more money on food plots then PETA does every year? How come everytime I see a PETA member they have a leather belt, hand bag, or leather shoes on where did that leather come from???? PETA needs to get a grip on what is true and start spending the money they collect to improve wildlife habitat instead of giving big bonuses to employees all supports of PETA do is make the owners rich. you want to help save the animals go to your local park and feed them ask a sportsman to put in a food plot for you.

P.E.T.A = please eat the animals,
There right, they, the ground hogs, shouldn't be subject to the bright lights, a muzzle flash should bother though...

P.E.T.A. wants the Pennsylvania Groundhog Club to replace Punxsutawney Phil with a "robotic stand-in because it it unfair to keep him in captivity and subject him to crowds and bright lights.
The alternative is to release him into the wild where he would have the opportunity to be shot and eaten by some “feinschmecker” Dutchman shooting up some food once. Phil will probably taste really good because he has led a protected and sheltered life. I wonder what P.E.T.A. thinks about that?

I'm sure "Phil" gets much better treatment throughout the year than most of these moronic PETA nuts do for their pets, if they even have any!
Down with PETA!
