NYC Muslims push to add holidays to school year

If this country can't have 'Christmas' and 'Easter' holidays anymore because they are religious days and instead have to have 'winter' and 'spring' break, who do these muslims think they are to insist THEIR religious holidays be put into the school year? First it's school holidays, next they'll hit the workplace and demand federal holidays. Don't you just love these people that want to turn the U.S. into "their" own country (illegal immigrants, muslims, etc) When is the U.S. going to wake up and stop bowing down to every group that comes along?

This country was supposed to have separation of church and state.Yet we have religious holidays ( Good Friday and Christmas )and the schools have Jewish religious holidays.Enough is enough.

Does this stuff ever stop? This country is based on Christianity. Let them go home to their own countries. It's people like them that prevent our nativity displays; next they will demand that we stop displaying Christmas trees! They should be allowed to miss school for their holidays and not be penalized, but THAT IS IT!!! One of the rights you have in this country is the RIGHT TO LEAVE!

Hello bigot, we are NOT a Christian nation (read the constitution we have seperation of church and state). If you are so worried about displaying christian religous symbols in government buildings why don't you LEAVE and move to the Vatican City or maybe you can become a Muslim and go live with the Ayatollahs in Iran, you seem to think the same way!

Imagine what the catholic church would say if we killed in the name of jesus christ. The church would speak out against us immediately, but not muslims, they never spoke against those acts. You cannot trust these people.

You mean like all the people the church murdered during the Spanish inquisition? The church has yet to give a full apology yet I know more attack all catholics than I do all muslims for 9/11. This is just another example of bigotry by a proud adherent of the church which demands free speech but opposes it for others!
