Why are Christians fighting over the use of the word Christmas, when it wasn't Christ's birthday any way.
Christmas was a pagan festival that was 'christianized' by the early Catholic church. Are you a Christian, a Catholic, or a pagan?
It's just now the beginning of October. Already the stores are becoming laden with all kinds of shiny things, gifts, foods, and decorations, anticipating big sales during the Christmas season.
Men are encouraged to buy their wives diamonds, jewelry, furs and expensive gifts.
Parents make lists of all the toys they are expected to give to their kids.
Now, most of the stores, and media refer to this as the 'holiday' season,(they wouldn't want to "offend" anyone by using the word Christmas nowadays).
They show little regard to what is 'supposed' to honor, and give homage to, the birth of Yeshua, the Messiah.
Few realize that the 'Christmas' they observe is actually a pagan festival.
Even unbelievers who are agnostics, or atheists, join in the madness.
They buy and give gifts to themselves and each other, and fill the month of December with busy work waiting for the BIG day of Dec. 25th, not even realizing or perhaps caring that Yeshua was not even born on Dec. 25th.
Why, if they claim they are observing the birth of Yeshua,(Jesus Christ), are they giving gifts to each other????
Many say, they don't care, it's a tradition they are going to keep anyway.
If you are a Christian, who "does Christmas", please read this and see what the Feast of Tabernacles really means and celebrates. I think you will find it very interesting and enlightening.

I am getting tired of Christians giving the religion a bad name! I work for a retailer that DOES have Christmas gifts, AND Hanakkah AND Happy Holidays and Season's Greetings gifts. We are attempting to be inclusive. Not everyone celebrates the same holiday at this time of the year.

We are being threatened by people who say they will not purchase Christmas gifts from us because we have other kinds of gifts. The way they are approaching the subject makes me want to scream!

It is one thing to say I would prfer to have only Christmas gifts. It is quite another to announce that you will not be buying any gifts from us because we choose to be inclusive.

Let me be clear. I AM a Christian, and have been for years. I want Christ at the heart of Christmas, also. What I don't want is for people to perceive us as fanatics who refuse to allow others to express their desire for Happy Holidays or Season's Greetings.

Yawn. I see the Funnymentalists are gearing up their annual fake war on Xmas campaign again.
And I see the fake Christians couldn't care less.

They can declare war on Jesus and Christmas if they want but they'd best leave Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny alone.
