You don't march, carry the Mexican flag and riot and to get respect and political power. Legal resident aliens have more legal clout than natrually born citizens. You want to earn respect and political power, urge your people to enter the country LEGALLY. Illegals not only hurt us and put an horrific strain on the economy, but they hurt your own people, too. These benefits are denied from the illegal alien invaders, NOT legal immigrants. Furthermore, Nativo Lopez is misleading the public relative to Arizona. The Arizona governor vetoed the strict anti illegal alien law, NOT related to illegal immigrants. Furthermore, after the pandering Arizona governor vetoed the bill, the voters approved very strict anti illegal alien invaders initiative which is being enforced at this time.

Without a doubt, Nativo Lopez is using lies and deceptions in an attempt to protect the illegal alien invaders. After all, he will be just another man if there were no illegal invaders! His is simply protecting his illegal alien turf.

The steady influx of latinos is degrading SoCAl into a 3rd world country like that from where they originate. Just got back from checking out the action downtown and McArthur Park....IT IS A FLOP!!!! I don't think there were more than 1000 protesters in one given place. Some of the key locations had less than 100 protestors. Everyone was bored! What a waste of taxpayer money!!!

Observations: There were far, far more Mexican flags than American flags! Lots of serapes and sombreros. My (white) friend and I received a lot of menacing looks from most of the protestors...if there had not been such a huge police force presence, we would have NEVER walked through the crowd! These people are DEFINITELY anti-American agitators! There was a militant atmosphere and I know that they were disappointed because there were no antagonists...they were just itching for a fight!

I'm going to take another shower now...just being around the vermin makes my skin crawl! These ungrateful, demanding, arrogant, wretched third worlders are the last people on earth that I would allow to stay in this country! They are completely undeserving, ungrateful, and should be deported TODAY! The US has lost it's mind and it's pride! They are NOT "immigrants"...they are criminal illegal aliens who belong in jail for breaking our laws and sucking off of taxpayer funds. They make me sick, sick, SICK!

I agree fully with the following comment. As my Name suggests I am in Public Assistance and I can tell you that the case loads are at 55% and possibly more with non english speaking clients. I speak only english and it is difficult to do my job. But think what it must be like for these immigrants and our very complecated system. They believe what they are told because they cannot read or speak english to find out for themselves how, historically, immigrants are always used for the benefit of already and up and coming powerful intrests.

Please differentiate between illegal aliens and legal immigrants like myself. My family came to this country and did what it took to qualify (get educated, gain professional skills, learn the language, willingness to assimilate).

These people are low life who do not understand nor appreciate United States. They are ignorant and doom to fail. A generation after, their children will be the same dishonest, corrupted people.

Close the borders, assimilate, evolve! As long as you have a continuous wave of people who are not educated and are unethical enough to sneak in here and break laws, the corrosion of United States continues. How can you teach a Latino child to respect properties (don't graffiti) when their own parents trespassed this country? How can they know right from wrong when they can justify thing for themselves?

I left the country I was born so I can be in United States, not freaking Mexico. I want my children to be an American, proud contributors.

I'm not going to say what culture collects CAPI which are cash payments when I believe 65. Here's the rub - the person is legally sponsored and then comes into the DPSS office and gets benefits... Not all who get CAPI are Mexican or Latino. By doing away with CAPI we could save a bundle. They come here because they can and can get a ton of benefits that most citizens can't get.
