NONE of the Police should be ACCUSED,OR PROSECUTED...It comes down to the fact that the group of law breakers shouldn't have been here in the first place.That icludes the anchor babies that took advantage of "our" misused law. They should all go back to Mexico,and their other "Latin" places of origin..They should not have had ANY right to gather in a country that is NOT, theirs!!!!!!!! I will NEVER have sympathy for any of those groups...The .L.A.P.D. have always had their hands tied when it comes to how to handle people groups that shouldn't be here in the first place.Political correctness is what has destroyed America..Expecting sympathy towards children that are anchor babies/illegals is wrong..WE THE LEGAL CITIZENS

Voting age I would like to see the voting age lowered. Being under the age of 18 myself, I believe that it would be a wise and prudent move to enable youth to participate in the democratic process, perhaps addressing the issue of their so-called "apathy." People under the age of 18 pay billions of dollars in sales taxes, as well as income and payroll taxes if they are employed. Yet they are denied the right to decide what is done with that money. Our Founding Fathers called this taxation without representation and started a revolution because of it. In addition, I believe that the current voting age violates my constitutional rights as a U.S. citizen under the Privileges or Immunities Clause of the 14th Amendment. Julian E. As a retired officer and an American of Mexican descent, I saw nothing wrong with the tactics of the LAPD Metropolitan Division in clearing out that park.
The problem I see is an East coast chief who is not a Los Angeles cop by any stretch of the imagination that has thrown his officers and supervisors under the bus to save his own skin. I see a mayor with a cop-hating attitude. I see a Police Commission president with a cop-hating attitude.
Lastly, I see too many illegal aliens breaking the law in this country. Go down to Mexico as an American and raise that kind of hell in their streets and parks. See what kind of government beating you get.
The LAPD, and police in general, cannot be expected to enforce our laws as long as they are working for cities with a "be all things to all people" politically correct agenda.

like I said many many times. I do not care if the "peaceful citizens" burn the entire city down. I do not live there. If the citizen do not want the police to interfer in any activities so be it. I will gladly show up after everything is over and take a report. I work for the citizens and city government and will abid by any policies they give us. want us to go out and kick butt and arrest gangsters that ok too.
