Fourth of July scenes from Long Island

NEW SUFFOLK An old-fashioned celebration Tom Samuels was one of the five people who 15 years ago started the tradition of a Fourth of July celebration and parade in the tiny North Fork hamlet of New Suffolk.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but your July 4th holiday is sort of out dated and racist. There are many different ethnic cultures here in America and ezpecially NY. When you celebrate a certain day, try and understand what that holiday REALLY means to others (Not just Americans) and how that day could maybe one day be changed to reflect the new diversity so that we may all celebrate as one.
