This was a great game and is only a preview of whats to come for the kings. Since Gretzky, the kings have struggled in goaltending and defense. Now, look at the kings numbers in penalty kill. Doughty is a gem and will be the captain of the team someday. O'Sullivan is coming around and will be a scoring leader in the coming years, he's gritty, yet superbly offensive.

This is a good team folks. Even though the Kings record is not the best, they have been coming to play hockey day in and day out. All of the games I have attended so far have been great even when they lost. The games have been very enjoyable with good, quality hockey.

Looking forward to seeing this squad get into the playoffs. I think they have a chemistry and this is a building process they are undergoing. The core looks good and I think you will see a vastly different LA Kings Team.
