Ya we dont want him anyways.....too old for our liking and injury prone.. Besides he doesnt seem to be willing to release his no trade contract agreement.. so keep him and go over the cap...Pronger signing tied the flys hands so they cant even sign a decent goalie... ho,ho,hummmmm

Yeah I was thinking the same thing in terms of injuries. Not so sure Burke would want him but it doesn't surprise me that I hear a Philly rumor about Kaberle. They've been trying to get him for a long time now. I thought for sure that Burke would be trading Kaberle this offseason but the more the days pass by it, the more the window closes because his NTC picks up in August and the less and less likely it seems. If he doesn't trade him, he better get him to resign with the Leafs or trade him at the deadline. That would really, really piss me off to see that guy walk for nothing in return (pissed at management not the player).

But yeah speaking of trading him at the deadline, well he would have to agree to it first... but still Burke better find some way he can hold on to him if he feels he can't get a deal worthy enough of Kaberle.

I like Kaberle, but I think it is time to trade him,so we dont get stuck with a big contract like we did with Mccabe. Kaberle has been relativly healthy, but as he gets older that can change. We are going with youth now, which I like.. Lets make a trade, get a decent draft pick and a prospect or two. In the long run it will be best for us. We will miss Kaberle, but Im sure we will adapt.. Kommeserek can go too as far as i am concerned.

Yeah,my first choice would be to trade him. However, I'd rather resign him as opposing to let him walk for nothing in the offseason. That would really suck!
