True. I just wish my boys would start winning the odd game and making the big dance the odd year again. I love all the Leafs wins (when it happens.) Hockey is and I repeat the ONLY sport I have ever loved to watch. Been following it since I was a 6 or 7 year old kid back in like 1993/94. You are lucky being a Flyers fan though, the Leafs are not an easy team to cheer for sadly. I used to live in Toronto when the team would make the playoffs and I tell you, there is NOTHING like it. Everybody is watching and united under a common cause. You got the regular fans who watch during the season (witch is at the least half the city) and you got everybody else who just watches the playoffs jumping on board as well. I only hope we can get back there....and perhaps we'll get some more memorable Leafs/Flyers series again (just don't remind us of game 5 of 2004 and Roenick's goal lol.)

Yeah I heard...but in all honesty my team has done nothing but a tank job the last month or so. I haven't been watching lately as I have had it with them and most the games they've played I haven't watched since the end of January. 7 years of no playoff hockey and not even being competitive and I've had it. I had a chance to go to see them play live more than once this year. I'm not paying to see these guys play until they give me a product worth paying for and I'm not watching these guys until they give me a product worth watching. I'm a fan, but a very DISGUSTED fan...This team is the richest team in hockey worth over half a billion dollars and also one of the oldest...they can't even give their fans a product that can make the playoffs yet make them pay the most expensive ticket prices in the NHL.

They haven't gotten any better under Burke as their GM despite the arrogant blow hard that he is. Our goaltending has actually been sub par this year and Burke didn't do a damn thing to fix the problem nor did he do anything to address the D on this team. He over-gave for Kessel, and on top of that practically NONE of this guy's signings have worked out. Not only that but he never should've given Ron Wilson an extension to begin with. It's just funny how pretty much the entire Maple Leaf fan base was screaming for his head long before the last month or so and could see he wasn't getting results yet our own GM couldn't see the forest for the trees at the time then ends up firing him later on.

Listen, sorry if it seems like I'm being overly negative and going on a rant...the thing is, you'll be surprised to actually find out that I live in West Chester. My frustration isn't really just from the last game, it's finally come to a boiling point due to not even being somewhat competitive since 2004. I've been down here since 2003 and if I was a bandwagoner, I would've dumped this team long ago. I've paid for the hockey package in years past, as well as a streaming site for the last 5 or so years (Center Ice is a rip off on Comcast considering the fact that they didn't lower their price for the coverage despite taking off games that used to be shown on the package and putting it on the network..then asking us to even more for that)... I had a chance to see them play live at the Wells Fargo Center and had more then one chance to get tickets. A friend of mine who is a Flyers fan and had tickets and offered one to me twice. I told him both times that I'm not paying to see a losing team put in a pathetic effort (usually when I see them in Philly they lose by about 4) when I can put the money towards my car's gas tank (I can only afford to go to one game a year anyways at the most.)

Hey, Don't be sorry...believe me, I have felt your pain...losing is onething...when it looks like they are even trying...that is like rubbing Salt into the wounds...as for Comcast...that is just another word for RIP OFF...I hate Comcast...they could care less about their customers...we went to Verizon, for our cable, and we have been quite happy with them...nice talking with you...I hope both of our teams do better...Take care.

From what I've heard the Flyers have been dealing with a lot of injuries. Although, I never recall the Flyers being THIS BAD for nearly as long. You had your one bad year then turned it around completely and haven't looked back.
