So far, the NHL has determined that referee Paul Devorski merely had an itch when he extended his right middle finger to his chin early in the third period of the Blue Jackets' 4-3 shootout win over Minnesota on Monday.

Oh please stop with the ref crap. It works both ways, and get over it. The whining about officiating Toronto replays is just excuses.

4 playoff games, no wins, cheap highlights of 10 years which mean nothing, and the best columbus can do is that fat idiot dancing.

Its about hockey, playing hard, not quitting, showing up everynight, and enough of the whining.

Is there any chance that the incident is on film? it does seem that we often are on the end of very poor officiating! Nash seems to be messed with often and the officials appear to not notice even though they are right there.

The point of the whole mess is that a ref openly taunted fans. The ref is a professional and a representative of the league. He's paid to call the game to the best of his ability, not mock or insult paying fans. It goes against his reputation and his credibility as a ref to engage in such actions.

AMEN RICK!!!!!!!!!

It's embarassment of a hockey team with a bunch of whining fans!

I thought Columbus was a bad enough place to live having to deal with the obnoxious drunks who root for OSU (PS. THEY ARE AMATEURS!!!), now I have to listen to the endless whining about officiating.

Do yourselves a favor Jack-off fans, root for a real team. Any other team in the NHL comes to mind!!! What a pathetic team.....

For the general manager of a team to lack the guts to stand up and tell the league "This is unacceptable" is, well, unacceptable.

The next time the NHL asks me to watch their telecasts, or the CBJ calls to ask me to buy more tickets, I'm going to tell them to kiss my devorski.
