Hockey gets amazing REGIONAL ratings (especially in Pittsburgh and Detroit), but is sadly lagging in national ratings. It amazes me how much he national audience seems to prefer basketball, since hockey is clearly a superior game.

Bassetball can't get ratings either. That's why they're on cable.

Please don't call me pretty boy. I don't know you or your preferences (not that it matters) but I'm not that way. I never heard of the station Vs. before the playoffs. Its sad that that is the network that gets to show hockey. Ignore my spelling and argue why you think the ratings for hockey are something to be happy about. The ratings show that not many people watch. In stead of calling me names, put up a good argument.

I'm a Red Wings fan, and I can tell you now....the Pittsburgh Penguins are FAR from being losers.

The title of "losers" is reserved for teams such as the Baltimore Orioles, Penn State Nittany Lions, etc.

Gloating, are you? Those two wins are legit, no question--congratulations--but they basically came down to great goaltending and lucky bounces. When Plastic Applicator swats blindly at a bouncing puck, and it somehow finds its way onto the top shelf, that's some pretty serious luck.

And before you get too pleased with yourself, remember this one fact: you Red Wings fans sing Journey songs together at the end of games. Nothing your team does in these playoffs can ever make that less lame. Ever.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
