Again, I could see why the Redwings always came out on top, but any team could beat them the hawks was their rival as well as the ducks but the wings GOT what other teams doesn't have (STRONG DEFENSEMEN) Watch how they plays they do not need to focus on goaling they do have the best defense team.
Good luck penquins. |

Little Cindy Crosby's team could not win the game even though they had near back to back powerplays! The Red Wings used one facet of their championship swagger tonight as they employed the theory that states "sometimes it's better to be lucky, than good" ALL championship teams in ANY SPORT must have this going for them to be sucsessful. Osgood nearly stood on his head, and has to be the hero of game 1.

No doubt Det. is good, but it helps when the Pit. goalie bats 2 into his own net.

yep, and if osgood hadn't had his entire team telling him to roll left he may have given one to the pens as well |
That's what team work is all about. The Penguins' only game plan is to get the puck to Crosby or Malkin. No wonder these two are scoring so many goals; everyone on the team is trying frantically to get the puck to their sticks. |

were you watching the game last night? fedetenko scored if i recall...but if malkin and crosby can make the score then why not...sour grapes there honey cause your team didn't make it? |
| ||||
Detroit IS my team HAHAHA. The sour grapes are all yours so far. |
And yeah Fedetenko scored because the Penguins forgot that Detroit is not as loose and sloppy as the Hurricanes (who we also beat the crap out of for a Stanley Cup)and they're not going to give Crosby or Malkin a lot of room to do fancy spins and back flips and whatever else. I don't think it's a coincidence that through two games they've been largely shut down and the result is that the Penguins have only one goal in each game. Now going back to their home ice where they will be able to choose the match-ups better may turn out to be a different story. We'll see I guess. |

hey cindy dont forget your midol and super absorbant tampons for game 3!GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!

Malkin is such a loser....picking a fight with Zetterberg who hasnt had a single fight in six years. good thing the NHL bailed you out you loser....watch your back, cause Kronwall will surely be targeting you!
GO WINGS! |
How many fights has Malkin been in his entire career? Two, maybe? |
You don't know much about the Penguins (too busy scheming ways to hand more elections to the Republicans, I guess), apparently. Crosby and Malkin have certainly done some scoring in the playoffs, but there's been scoring up and down the roster. Even in these two games, there have been solid chances by Talbot, Guerin, Staal and Fedotenko. When you have two players of the caliber of those guys, it would be foolish not to try and get them the puck--but the Pens are far from a two-trick pony. I do agree that the Wings D exists on another planet than that of the 'Canes, but believe me, nobody on the Pens coaching staff forgot that. |

I love how the NHL is bending rules to side with the Guins, After and instigator penalty in the last 5 minutes of a game. That player is to be suspended the next game, After reviewing the tape they suspension was rescinded Though im all smiles i dont want Cindy Crosby to have any excuses after we win the cup by beating them back to back years!
Ya gotta start somewhere on your road to a goon hockey career. |
Osgood..Osgood..Osgood..Osgood
I love that chant, I'm pretty sure Osgood like also. Imagine an entire hockey rink chanting your name, it must be an adrenaline rush for him...but please Pens fans show no mercy, I want to hear that chant all night long. Better yet lets try Hossa..Hossa..Hossa..Hossa. I am sure it will make him play worse. By the way I am going out on a limb and picking the 3 stars for game 3 1. Osgood 2. Hossa 3. Zetterburg ....aka where is Sindy |
hey another good way to get under the Red Wings skin is to throw a octopuss on the ice ...they hate that.
So Malkin's a goon now? Why don't you just start wearing an "I'm a Clueless Drooler" T-shirt? |
Crosby has canceled out Zetterberg as least as much as the reverse. |
