Great job by Robbie on and off the ice. Took the Cup to the picnic for the handicapped kids at Lido Beach yesterday too.

Interesting that the most obvious question hasn't been raised regarding this LI proud young man. In his Free Agent year, coming off a wondefully productive season, why wasn't he significantly sought after by Snow and if he was,why didn't he jump at the opportunity to put on an Islanders sweater? The 30 year old Rob Scuderi would have given the backline quite abit more solidity. Could it be that the almighty dollar speaks louder than civil pride?

Sure hes proud of LONG ISLAND and he has shown that

But dont you dare suggest this great long islander should show interest in that joke of an organization!

Hes gonna cap off his career being a champ and make some real money for his future

Why the fuck would he screw it all up and play for that gook prick and the clueless wonder snow

They have no loyalty to any players anyway.
Thats why there alumni wants nothin to do with that shit-hole of a team

To this point, Rob has been grossly underpaid by NHL standards. He spent years in the minors making very little after graduating from BC. This is probably his one and only chance to provide security for his family. To suggest he should take a lot less from the Islanders or any other organization is absurd.

But thats those scumm-bag isle fans thinking everyone owes their pitiful team something!

They should start by getting an AMERICAN owner and not some gook from the rice-patty

Maybe if I get a new building, the Isles will have a real arena to play in instead of that dump in uniondale.

Look,ZIPPER HEAD,I have never met you and visa virsa. I assume you are of adult age and that is sad. Anyone who would resort to this kind of infantile behavior has a problem. Let me guess! You are a Rangers fan, they are your life and life is nothing but a childish, sleep away Camp like color war. All Islanders fans and Nassau County residents are pond scum. Am I on the right track? Shallow individuals such as yourself are downright pitifull and scary. Go back under your lily pad and play with species possessing thought processes on a par with yourself!

I suggested nothing of the sought. My thought was all things remaining NEAR equal,I would have thought Rob would choose to play in his backyard. I have no way of knowing what happened here and made that clear(at least I thought so). Perhaps the choosing $$$ of civil pride statement could have been explained abit better, but by no means did I mean to 'CONCLUDE' Rob took only a dollar more from LA! Hopefully you now have second thoughts about aligning yourself with that bigoted foul mouth imbecile, who evidently judges people by the team they support and has no trouble detesting people he has never met.

You seem like an intelligent, sensitive and level headed individual,Lotterypick. It didn't escape me that Rob took the time to visit handicapped kids with The Cup. Again,I don't begrudge the young man bettering himself and his family financially. Having said that I was purely speaking from a fans point of view. Mea Cupa if I thought it would have been a nice story if Rob came home and adorned an Islanders sweater. Must I ask for forgiveness if I was frustrated that he didn't? One thing is certain. My intial post didn't deserve such a demeaning, meanspirited and foul response on the part of that ignorant Rangers fan. Most of the sensible followers of that team are arguably the most passionate and fairest fans in the Land and can differentiate between fandom and person. It is people such as these, who's world is so small that he can only stereotype and factor into why people still have trouble getting along. To make matters worse, subsequently I had to see Mindy's mind boggling and disgusting Anti -Christian narrow minded garbage. As a Jew myself,I am embarrassed to say she is of the same persuation. Peace,Bro,and Lets Go Islanders!

I can respond with some words of wisdom for you,but having been around the block a few times I know hopelessness when I see or read it in words and tone. I will say this as a content, retired, financially sound grandfather six times and proud father of three wonderful children, miserable brainless statue that you are,I still wish you would achieve what my family and I have!

You have it all figured out, don't you. All I can say is anyone creating a biographical snyopsis on one they never met has issues. Even more sadly is not only don't you know who you are responding to,but totally misunderstood the nature and thought of my post. Rather than politely asking what I mean't by it like a reasonable man,you irrationally chose to allow yourself to lose emotional balance and control and throw some disgusting gutter language my way. I say this not in a meanspirited way. I am not angry. You evidently have severe anger issues and find relief in letting yourself go. That is a dangerous road to take. Your rant and insults basically revolved around a hockey team. Think about it. Cool down. Maybe one day we will be introduced and you wouldn't have such dangerously terrible illusions about someone you never knew or met before. Whew!!!!

Darcy! She said, who cares about Hockey? It is a Goyem(Gentile)sport. Its not about the word, but rather its place in her thoughts. I am Jewish, but find that demeaning. Regardless of your background, don't you? What is the problem here?

Cancer

Mercury turning retro is offering you the chance to make sweeping and long-lasting changes to your life, and to clear the ground for some fertile growth in 2010. Lawyers and legal matters, debates, contract negotiations, partnership or other alliances, and joint ventures of any kind need attention. As a Cancerian you don't like endings, but you must now bring an end to any situation or relationship that is holding you back or has passed its sell-by date.
