that's awesome!!!!!

Got to take a team picture with the cup back in the 90's after NJ won their first cup, we were at a tournament at their practice rink and they brought it down to the rink.......man what a feeling.

Being in the presence of that thing is like being in a church

Pretty cool. At least the young generation of Icelander fans get to see the cup. Something they will never again see in their lifetime....

By then, Henry will be known as Hank, have a beer belly, and retired with 10 grandchildren.

In case he wasn't able to take a picture, he'll have another opportunity only, he'll be wearing his Rangers jersey.

I'm partial the ice at the Rinx. I think that's the best all around facility here on the island.....most rinks have either good ice or good rooms.....the Rinx has 'em both.

I always found the ice at Newbridge a tad too wet for my liking

I was there today and thought the whole scene was pretty awesome! I give the guy a lot of credit, he has the cup for one day and he was generous enough to share it with us. Just shows the character of the person. Great to see the local boys do well!
PS - I thought he was a St. Mary's grad?

nah he's a Friar.....we're happy to have him as a part of our fellow alum!

From what I've been hearing he's going to bring the cup back to St. Anthony's this winter....what happens is each member of the team gets teh cup for a day, and once everyone had their day with it the players can start requesting it to bring around for more than a day each.

I remember Rob going through my whole team to score a goal in HS...... its funny how now he is a stay at home defenseman..

Goes to show how great the talent level is at the NHL level.

Congrats.

I was at Lido too! Rob, Bob, Leslie and Courtney....THANKS!

Vinny Rocks. So does the rest of the Pux. They're a class organization from elder statesman Harry to soon to be Texan, Sal.

While I had the opportunity be with some of the Rangers when they put the Cup Banner opening night of the '95 season, this event blew those memories away.

The Scuderi Family shared their moment of glory with fellow LI'ers. Best of Luck to Rob in LA. They got more than a stand-up defenseman. They've got a STAND UP gent.

'nuff said.

Daily Horoscope for December 25

Aries

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
