"Bottom line, you can't give up a goal on the power play." Gee, talking ain't doing, Fedor!!!! I got a funny feeling we sneak into the playoffs this year but it willbe because we surge but others fail.

Dial "N" for nobody cares - as in the columbus yellow jackets....seriously, will the interns at this newspaper just do their job and cover up for the college football team instead writing about a hockey team that has one foot in their relocation package to Seattle???

We are not Cleveland, we are not Cincinnati!. We are middle-market Columbus that has annexed 80% of central Ohio and renamed it Columbus so we can relax our inferiority complexes in relation to northeastern/southwestern, Ohio.

Another loss in a shootout, I'm all for pulling the goalie in the last 2 minutes of OT before staying tied and going to a shootout. Mason sucks in shootouts and the CBJ have no snipers

Come on Nash. Could have come up with a better shot in the shoot out for the money you make. Put a little more effort into next time.

Hope you were watching the 19 year old from Boston....

Tired of all the whining from people who call themselves hockey fans. The truth is, the game played Tuesday evening was exciting and edge-of-the-seat worthy. I hated the short handed goal. I think that there needs to be the overtime until someone scores (full period), and if that does not work, the game stays a tie! Shootouts aren't part of the playoffs, right?

As I suggested before, A relief Goalie should be sent in for shootouts. It's obvious that that part of the game has gotten into Mason's head. He believes he's going to fail in shootouts, and then he does. It would be less creul to have a shot at two points than putting it out their for the world to see that as of right now, Mason can't handle shootouts. Oh, and the alternative is doing the way we always have - and losing because of it.

Got to agree. It's OK when you're winning them, but it's still not real hockey. Get rid of the shootout. Play 4 on 4 for 10 minutes and the call it a tie. Oh, and the loser gets no points. Let's make it pointless and go by percentage of games won with a tie being considered no game played. Works for the NFL.

Mason is surely bad in shootouts, but last night was not on him. He only let one in and our shooters couldn't even do that. Even if Mason stopped that one, we would still need to score one ourselves. And that seems to be a larger issue here.

Let's get a real sport in Columbus, like bikini football, roller derby, or midget tossing.

NHL Hockey is boring.

I'm guessing you've never watched an NHL game in your life. Hockey is non stop action except for the breaks between periods. NBA Basketball and MLB Baseball are what I would consider boring, but hockey rocks!

When is the shrine circus coming to town? Because this same old song and dance is just about history.
