Got WITT?
Witt is the man! Shuts down Jagr and other first line stars, hustles like no one else, blocks any shot he can. A true warrior. Great job by Snow getting this deal done now, avoiding any speculation during the season. As for the moron from Sayville, id rather be micky mouse then have 1 cup in 68 years playing in the worlds greatest city. Now thats not micky mouse thats just disgraceful. Long Island Ranger$ fans know squat about hockey.

Snow is doing a good job. 3 out of the 4 Stanley Cups the Rangers won when there was only 6 teams in the league.

The whole Long Island Ranger fan thing needs to stop. It makes no sense. You won 25 years ago. That wasnt exactly yesterday. How about winning a playoff series. Something you havent done in 15 years.

Glad to see the Isles rewarding a guy who leaves it all on the ice. Lookin forward to seeing that "snarl" again this year.

How about you Long Island Ranger fans stop worrying about the state of the Islanders and worry about your own joke of a franchise. Neither team has won a cup in a long time, so that point is moot.

Good signing by the Isles. Witt is a warrior with a lot of heart, and whenever he is on the ice the other team takes notice and keeps their heads up. I was hoping the Rangers would pick him up because they still don't have a crease clearer.

Sorry i forgot im not allowed to read anything about the Islanders. This is a good signing for the ISles. But i have to say something when someone says LI Ranger Fans are dumb. It doesnt make sense. Families moved from the city to LI for a better life. While in the City they root for the Rangers. Now a days you usually root for who your parents root for. Hence thats why there are LI Ranger fans.

Good signing by Garth. And $3 mil per is a great price. Good to see Garth showed SOME restraint in spending. Too many guys making too much money.

And to the idiot who asked about us reaching the cap floor... spending the entire $56.7 mil doesn't make you a good team, it makes you a poor business. We'll spend less, put a decent product on the ice, save some money. Meanwhile, you still won't win the Cup.

It's funny that a guy who can't even play defense is the highest paid Dman.

Witt and/or Sutton both deserve to get paid more than the defensively challenged Streit.

I wonder if it will casue any locker room issues.

This is great news for Isles fans. Witt plays with grit and tenacity. Now only if the Isles can stay healthy next season.

yes, good move however why is Streit making more as an unproven commodity than Witt is who has proven himself to the team? Oh..and to you Ranger fans, a gentle reminder, you did NOT win the cup , it was bought.

For a guy who can't play D he shut down Fagr everytime. Don't hate. Appreciate.
