this team just decided to pay four players who are worthless
Guerin passed his prime a long time ago and the other three are terrible
Rangers and Pens will tear up this division easily
Garth Snow will be fired sometime this year no doubt in my mind
I seriously love to hear Ranger fans speak just so I can get a good laugh at the ignorance. How's Eric Lindros? Pavel Bure? Theo Fleury? The Rangers sign big names and never get big results. Im surprised the Rangers didn't ruin Jagr. Scott Gomez will have as much impact for the Rangers as the last time they signed a big name Devil, Bobby Holik.

Lindros and Bure had a history of injuries. Fleury actually played well for the Rangers. Free agency back then happened when a player turned 30 yrs old. Gomez is 27 & had an excellent playoff. Do you really think the Drury signing was bad ?

Is Guerin going to be the new captain? Probably, the Islanders just give that away...ex. Yashin. They bring in a veteran and give him the "C". I thought it was given to a leader. Not saying he is, because Guerin can fill that role. But to give it to someone just coming to the team?

I never mentioned Drury because I couldn't argue with anyone signing him. He's a big time player who may not score as many goals as he did with Buffalo last year but he'll come close to 30. But it doesn't matter how well they play for the Rangers, Effigy. My point is that the Ranger fans are thinking they are going to win the Stanley Cup. I mentioned all those players because how far did any of those acquisitions get them in the playoffs. Nowhere! Its the old 'don't count your chickens before they hatch' addage here boys.
