The Islanders were definitely outworked last night!!!
Sure its a shame to lose, but seriously- did anyone ACTUALLY expect the Isles to go 8-0-0 against the Rangers this season? They are as good team as well, no there was no that was going to happen.

so now Teds Islanders have a record against the Rangers of 8-2-2... Ill get over it. Hopefully the team RESTS UP, because I cant believe how many turnovers and how much sloppy play I saw last night. Rest up boys, it was only a game.

And not to be mean, but I really do hope Sillinger yelled at Hilbert for missing a totally empty net that was about 20 inches in front of him.

Couldn't agree with ya more on the Hilbert thing.. I swear, this guy couldn't find the back of the net if he was IN the net. If there is one guy I'd like to see sent down its Hilbert. Bring up Tambelini already, he's tearing it up at Bridgeport.

Was good to see Colton Orr put Simon on his rear end. Somebody had to do it and Orr was just the guy for the job. Gotta love hockey!

Excellent Islander performance given the prior night's OT win while the Rangers were off. The Isles had a similar win over the Rangers at the Coliseum, so scheduling has helped give each team one win.

Hilbert is a total waste of space. Why he is still playing professional hockey is beyond me.

notice Simon tricked and fell to the ice. Hollweg will not fight..you should no that. Hollweg is a disgrace to the league once again. Orr's elbow to the head was pretty good too.

Rangers Fan: Islander must stink after slaying your team 3 times already..1-3 is not a good record. By the way. go back to having man love with your b/f you bay city roller.

Good game rags...you barely beat us with your glam team

Wow I'm not the only Islanders fan thinking just that. Bring up Tambellini already! Trade Hilbert and Bergeron for a bag of pucks for Christ's Sake!

I wouldn't call 6g 13 a in18 games tearing it up at Bridgeport for Tambellini, but he certainly would be an upgrade from Hilbert. They guy can't finish off a play to save a life.

That being said, I'm definitely happier that the Islanders beat the Senators than I'm upset about us losing to the Rangers

A point per game in the AHL is usually indicative of your ability to be on an NHL roster. I think Tambellini would have more than 2 points in 22 games in the NHL

"Maybe three in four caught up with us," Nolan said.

Anybody ever notice that Nolan always makes an excuse. Usually it's about the refs.

No I have not noticed that. Nolan has said stuf about refs but they did get SCREWED in that series vs. buffalo as well as that goal that was disallowed last year against the ranger$ I know its hard for ranger$ fans to argue against officiating since the nhl gives them calls and wants nothing more for them to win the cup.
