That's certainly great for Lee. Another example fo how well hockey is played at the prep level in Minnesota. However, for teh Wild, not such good news. This shows that the race involving as many as 7-8 teams in the west fighting for 4 play-off spots may be an exercise in futility. Ottawa, clearly out of the running in the east is better than the Wild and by association all of these pretenders to the play-offs. My guess is whoever squeezes out the last few play-off spots will get beaten handily in the first round of the playoffs anyway. Silver lining? I guess there's some money to be made by hosting a couple of games.

At least for now I am. I will say my patience is wearing thin. I still don't get Minnesota cheap with the Riseborough factor. The guy has run his course and it is time to move him along - with all the harping on McHale for the Wolves - I often wonder if half of that enthusiasm to run him out of town shouldn't have been saved for Riseborough. He has yet to prove his ability to sign, identify, or trade for talent. He is so afraid to make a move that the Reitz for Fritsche trade looks like a block buster to him. Until our new owner Leipold decides to hold Rise's feet for fire - we will be nothing more than mediocre - which is too bad because the core group of guys are great players - they just need that superstar or at least two moe of Koivou's skill level and size.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Sagittarius

The rumour mill is especially active, and interesting tales are coming at you from all sides. Don't believe everything you hear: there are people who will start gossip to further their own aims and you don't want to help them unwittingly. Similarly, don't reveal too much of yourself to those who you don't know intimately - keep your own counsel.
