Every team needs a pest with talent like Avery. Given an opportunity by the "martinet"Tortorella he will be a useful forward. He can skate,he can check,he has a decent shot,he creates opportunitie with the checking and passing. Most of all,he is a hockey player who needs to be properly handled as Tom Renney did. Renney did not as all good coaches do,try to fit a round peg into a square hole! Prediction,Torture-ella will not use him properly and will take the first opportunity to scapegoat him as a reason for the Rangers being what they are. An average team as they have been for more than a decade!

I hate to agree but Tortorella is a scumbag and will be looking to can me and send me backdown. The minute i take a penalty--I will be benched. Just leave me alone and I will play my game.
