You thanked us by leaving, Chris Campoli. This team doesn't need any birches, and now it has two less.

This story rates one comment from a guy in Texas? Looks like the Isles "faithful" have baseball on their minds already.

That early April tee time you made in December (or was it November?) still looks good....first team to reach 40 losses.....LMAO

Comrie and Campoli are good guys who wanted to play with a real hockey team, not the bozo Islanders. For this, they should be saluted. Kudos to all !

Yeah, we don't need any birches. Maybe a few more oak trees, but no more birches.

The Islanders are last in the NHL.
Architect weeps, in the cellar they dwell.
While Ricky and Dougie watch the games on tv.
Yanni the Danni allows the puck to fly around the rinky
and it passes over his shoulder
and it is over, the season ends
islander last, my friends.

I like "Gordon's system". In its most basic form, it involves the other team putting the puck in the Islanders net more than the Islanders put the puck in the other team's net. The system is working.

Taveras Taveras Taveras

Any game right now where our young core produce (Bailey, Nielsen, Comeau, Okposo, maybe tambellini) and we still lose is a win win for us.

This team needs a scoring winger and a solid D man with Taveras and we'll be headed in the right direction. It might take a season or two but we'll be on track

You should be saluted for sleeping with them. In locker rooms throughout the NHL everyone knows Minnie.

Hey, Islander fans. Wanted to introduce myself and say that I don't want to play for the fish. Thank you.
