What, is there absolutely NOBODY else out there (that is worthwhile) that they could persuade to consider playing on Long Island?
Is the situation THAT dire for the Isles to even remotely consider doing the unthinkable of re-signing Yashin?

Is Wang that far out of touch with what was going on with Yashin when he was with the team?

They talk about the points Yashin accumulated during his last season. Don't they even consider that it was mainly due to Jason Blake that Yash was even able to accumulate those points. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. What a total bunch of morons. What is wrong with Wang? What is wrong with the other execs/staff/personnel feeding (misleading?) info to Wang?

They bought his last 4 years out. Now, ion top of paying that, they want to consider paying him even mopre money to come back & play? Are they for real?

Maybe they should get Milbury, Maloney & the Milsteins all on board and then they can collectively destroy the Isles once and for all.

Maybe the piles should look into bringing back the team from 1983. Those old has-beens couldn't be much worse than the collection of stiffs that the wanger has assembled so far.Not to mention that a sixty year old billy smith is probably still a better goalie than that flopping melon head ricky.
Enjoy yourselves now azzlander fans, another losing season awaits.

No merit to this story. Yashin's agent is a scumbag who created this farce to drum up any interest in this never-was. Newsday posted a correction and if I was Logan, I'd personally look him up to kick both his and Yashin's ass for getting him to print up a bunch of garbage.

Yashin, take your money and go home.
