Face it Nolan, your season is over. Bench the worthless "veterans," put the kids on the ice and think of the last 10 games as the beginning of training camp for next season. Let them prove that they belong at the NHL level. And for f@#$s sake get rid of Bates, he's as bad as Brett Lindros with all the damn injuries.

Wow. How did you even remember that Bates was on the roster? It is bizarre that they keep him around. I've played almost as many games for the Islanders as he has the last few years.
But to this article... it's just words but it gives some confidence that the missed net was just a rookie mistake and not something that will be the norm. If Comeau is able to develop on top of what he's shown us so far then he'll be a very good player in the NHL. He's one of the bright spots on this team right now.

Is it time to do the math laike every season about if that team losses 6 games, and that team losses 7 games but ties two, and we win 9 games, etc.,etc., maybe we can get into the playoffs! I think we are all tired of doing this sshitt every season! Or as I saw the post the other day from Rambo stating: "its over Johnny"! I think I would go with the latter!
