"We're compensated quite well, and the people who watch us pay quite heavily for us to do that," Nolan said. That to me is what it boils down to: people paying upwards of $300 to take four to a friggin hockey game. And you;ve got guys like Guerin (what?$5 million) and Comrie ($4 million) skating around in circles. The Isles like a baseball team with completely clean uniforms -- no mud, no grass stains.

You have to respect Ted Nolan's integrity......but at this stage of the game you also have to look at getting the best possible draft pick to help re-build this organization. I'm not suggesting to ever throw a game but the organization is in a tough spot- I say just play as hard as you can and see where the chips fall-

This garbage has been going on all season. I appreciate what Nolan is saying, but this should have been driven home in January. Guerin is already retired as far as I'm concerned.

Right..where is the captain? At least Yashin was obnoxious to the press once in a while. Give the "C" to Witt, revamp the roster. I would rather support a team of hardworking unknowns who finish 12th than another season of this nonsense.

No silly, that would be something your loser organization would do. You did stuff like that all year. 50% off tickets to see Kyle the Pile. Pathetic.
Hmmmmmm so, 6th place, playoffs or 13th-14th place , golf?
End of conversation loser.

Then you shouldn't have trouble finding some to discuss YOUR team with.

How many goals did Guerin have this year? How old is he? How many goals did you expect him to get?

Rag losers are kings of excuses. Shoot the puck Barry, Potvin sucks, he injured wussy Ulf. They bought their 1 cup. One & done, wait another 54 yrs. Please, whats the excuse this year? Strangers wish they had Potvin, hell, they still blow that panzy whistle and chant his name. Hope Snow can evaluate talent & scouts earn their keep. We need a great draft & build a stronger offensive team. We need to compete with Crosby & Co.With more cap $ available, he should find some young scorers.

The title of this article should be "Nolan playing for his job", although honestly I think after 2 seasons of utter garbage Nolan should be gone now.
