MacDonald was outstanding yet again! Park played well!

The rest of the team was flat by tallying only 5 shots on goal during the 3rd period is PATHETIC!

I hear New Orleans and Las Vegas is looking for a team, lol....

No Need to panic! This is what happens to teams are rebuilding.
Oh wait, they dont actually play the kids! Come on Snow, don't mind being the worse team in the league, but let the kids play! How in hell are they going to develop, when Guerin, Weight, Park, Hilbert, are playing the hole power play. The Team looks confused, dont have an identity, an half the season has gone by. Its simple, play them, and let them go through there growing pains...before another season has gone to sh...

The problem I have with Gordon is that he seems to accept losing as long as the team plays hard. the system isn't working Scott, wake up!

No the system will work, they need to spend this year seeing who can play the system, then they will be able to draft and/or acquire the complimentary players they need in the coming years. They are committed to this style of play and it will work. I saw it in the AHL with his teams. The do need a sniper though and some more speed on the blue line...let the kids play...could they do any worse?

I like how they said last night, if there's a player that can't play the system, he will go. That's good...let's get rid of Brendan Witt who is a player that every team wants. This is crazy. Forget the system, get rid of Snow and Gordon. Get Smith and Nolan back in office. Might feel like we are trying to put the original lineup of Guns N Roses back together, but you know what. That lineup sold records, and didn't take 11 years to come out with an album. I like the youth movement. But we need to have a more stable environment if we are going to attract some top notch free agents. You will hear this from me until draft day. Draft John Tavares. For the sake of us the fans....we need a complete player, a future leader, someone that we can lockup for life and maybe retire another number do wn the line. Guarantee if we land Tavares, his number will be the next number to be retired in Islanders history. DiPietro sure doesn't deserve it.

the season cannot be salvaged. Let's be honest. However, at worst they will get a top 5 pick at best they get Traveres. This will be the FIRST legitimate scorer in 10 years. I focus on player development, and that's all I believe we really have.

Give it a rest! All these comments will do nothing to change Wang's love of Snow and Gordon. Here's what you can expect for the next 5 years:
1. The same boring dump and chase system in which the players are worn out by the third period.
2. Continued high ticket prices to watch terrible hockey.
3. Snow and Gordon for at least those 5 years, because Wang is not one to admit he made a mistake.
4. No premier free agents will come to the Island because of the system and the arena.
5. 6-7000 empty seats because there are some people on LI smart enough not to pay to see this garbage.
6. More minor league players who should never be in the NHL.
7. As revenue decreases, a move to Las Vegas, Kansas City, or Podunk, who will give Wang everything he wants, with Snow and Gordon still in control.
8. With expansion again on the horizon, the quality of players availble slips even more.
To me it means I lost about $160 for NHL Center Ice, but not next season. I'm through with this mess. But, I feel for all of you who pay out big money for season tickets, probably again for next year, to see this poor excuse for the team and game I love.

Oh yes, it will get even worse. When Ricky Red Light returns, they will be losing by double digits! And I must admit, I cannot wait. What a bunch of stiffs!

the biggest falacy y9u fans have with implimenting the system is that , yes it is a young mans game and yes the older players can't keep up with it. Problem with that is the young players aren't going to stay young, they will get older and slower which means they are going to have to go and be replaced with younger players again.Where is the long term with that? The team will have to make itself over every few years ie: rebuild every few years.

Can someone smarter than me explain what Gordon's "system" is anyway- I watch closely, I'm looking for it but I'm not seeing it-
