Don't all the great sports franchises represent their past championships by marking up their uniforms with symbols representing the past great achievements.
The Dallas Cowboys must have a few stripes on their uniform somewhere ?
The SF 49'ers must have some stripes on their uniforms too. I'm looking closely at the Montreal Canadiens uniforms to see where all their symbols are- How about the NY Yankee's.....don't see 26 stripes anywhere on their uniforms. How about the Pittsburgh Steelers...anything ?
Detroit Redwings won a few Cups over the years....any stripes ??
Chicago Bulls, Lakers, Celtics...any stripes, stars, clovers- anything ?
LET IT GO...nobody cares about the 4 cups in the early 80's- In fact none of those cups even matter when you're talking about NY's greatest championships-
Lose the stripes........it's lame.
Sounds like "stripe envy" to me.

Anything else you might be envious of? Psychologically?

Apparently, I've gotten under your skin you pathetic fool. You've taken to doing nothing more than attempt to discredit my commentary. Unfortunately for you, you are just an idiot and don't understand most of what is said here. Go away son. There are hockey fans here that come to talk about their own teams. You have never done anything here but try to start fights. Yes, I have had arguments but only when an idiot such as yourself shows up. I've also had plenty of reasonable conversations. Go back to pre-school and make your usual moronic insults there.

Im not making any excuses but look the ranger$ have a better attendence bc of corporate seats thats not even disputable. yes they do have more fans thats not disputable either. And dp not being in the lineup is an excuse and u shouldnt make fun of his grandma that isnt nice. Last year the islanders would of finished 6th and not 8th if dp doesnt get hurt. Thats not an excuse thats just reality. Ranger$ S*ck. Ranger$ fans have no right to be cocky like Yankees fans they dont have nearly as many rings so start giving credit to some other teams around the league and im not talking about the isles. Dino, you are blowing dp's struggles way out of porportion. What about some of the softies henry gave up against philly or even the 3rd goal tonite at msg. Every goalie has some time where hes not as good. Look at Thomas last night vs. washington. Broduer struggled early. It happens to all goalies even the best ones. Lundqvuist, dp, broduer are all in the top 10. Broduer is obviously in the top 5 and dp and lundqvuist might be as well.

actually last week in the ny post they had the top 20 goalies save pct, DP wasnt even on the list,so i doubt he is as good as you claim him to be.

Hey toupee head, the stripes represent 4 championships in a row, not championships over a period of years, the other teams havent done that, except montreal, but they only had too win 2 rounds, they got a buy, back then, because they were the revered canadiens,so the stripes symbolize consecutively, ok?

Speaking of Mega, in our office pool we hit 4 out of 5 numbers in that big jackpot last week,$150 was the payout, that won't even buy us a 30 pack each for the 10 of us so we're just rolling it over.

That's one too many numbers. There are 5 numbers plus the Mega ball, not 6.

I'm so good that if it were six numbers and the Mega Ball, I would have gotten them all right.....

LOL.....Drop the Mega ball (8) and carry over the last number (in the 6th position) as the Mega Ball. All I ask is 15% of winnings.
