Hey fans. We only lost by one goal. I would very much appreciate your support, in my obtaining a contract extension. Perhaps an additional 35 years, similar to Ricky Red Light. We showed so much grit in last night's game. Er, I realize we are the worst team in the NHL and we were playing a pretty poor team, but next Tuesday is Al Arbour night! Yeah, that;s the ticket. And maybe Chico Resch will stop by. My system rules and Witt drools!

Does anyone see a pattern here? We don't want to spend $$$, so the only guys we can afford are marginal players or veterans looking to put up numbers with hopes of being traded at the deadline. Then we get a coach no one was dying to get who puts in a system of high risk, little reward and high injury rate hockey and we wonder why most of our lineup is on the DL and we haven't won in like a month. Charles Wang has made this team irrelevant in the NHL. I know he needs a new building but jeez, at least the Penguins put an exciting product on the ice playing in a crappy building. I can't even tell you who half of our lineup is.

Not to burst your bubble or anything but Pittsburgh is getting a new arena.
