Why should ALIMONY run commensurate with Child Support?

She needs to get off her azz and get a job if she wants more money ... Alimony should be eliminated - women want equal rights, but when it comes to divorce, they want to be taken care of because they claim they can't take care of themselves ...

- women like her and the other gold diggers out there disgust me and make ALL women look bad ...

- quit crying about "no fair pay" system and then turn around and demand alimony - apparently she wasn't much of a wife or they would still be together ... this is just about as bad as AIG's bonus checks to the CEO's .... getting paid for something you screwed up and failed at ...

- the Judge(s) should be ashamed of themselves as well ...

I couldn't agree more. I've long said there is no place for alimony in today's society.

EVEN if that's true, WHO cares??? why the hell would ANY woman need 500g's a year SOLELY because she was once married to him? and even IF she couldnt work for some reason, just what is the median income for a single woman? im quite sure it doesn't come close to 500g a year. i could care less if she was "accustomed" to the lavish life HE provided for HER! get a job you lazy ingrate.
