Marian Gaborik still might not re-sign with the Minnesota Wild, but it seems clear that the team's chances of retaining its all-time leading scorer got better Thursday when owner Craig Leipold announced he had fired general manager Doug Risebrough.

I'm Sorry,

But this is a pattern that has to stop in the Wild. Burnsie playing without his head on straight, Gaborik getting shut down abruptly, same thing happened to Fernandez. I don't think this medical staff has diagnosed one injury right.

As I rule I generally mistrust agents, but on this one, I think Salacar's on to something, coupled with the fact that the culture under Czar Riseborough was play hurt or get called out in public.

Maybe the medical staff is the next house that Lepold needs to clean.

I think that with everything that has been going on in the past week. Gabby should rethink and just figure out where he truly wants to be. Without him for next season and seasons to come, The wild would not be the same without him. He has recreated so many great memories for us fans, that we all want him to stay here. The wild management need to offer him another new contract. I think everyone in this hockey club needs a fresh new start to things!!!! I truly hope that it will works out in the next couple of months here!
