Chuck Fletcher still won't say who his coaching candidates are, but the new Minnesota Wild general manager did acknowledge today he has spoken to star winger Marian Gaborik.

Nice try Chuck. The owner told him to get on it, and he has to, but it's not going to happen unless you offer him a piece of the team. Gaborik is a free agent and he's gone. Focus on other teams' free agents that can score and see if you can reel one in. I guess we're also up against the salary cap too. How that could happen with only two or three guys who can score is beyond me.

Ifyou watched the last part of last the season, you seen how explosive he is. He can take over a team and make everyone around him better. he looks like he has gotten physically stronger, putting some good hard hits on. I think we should do what ever we can to keep him in a wild sweater!
